Rosalind Bryant is the Health Support Tech at Port St Joe Middle School and High School. She started in School Health at Port St Joe Elementary School in 2001 and moved to the High School in 2003. The students love “Ms. Ros”; she has been with many since kindergarten. Ms. Bryant is a CNA, and worked in the nursing home for 7 years and home healthcare for 7 years. She really enjoys working with the elderly and youth. "I'm really thankful for the opportunity to reach the youth in the schools."
Sandy Evans is the Health Support Tech at Port St Joe Middle School and High School. She started in 2006 and has worked in health care in the community for many years. The students love “Mrs. Sandy”. " I love the opportunity that my job gives me to be able to encourage and touch the lives of so many children." Her hobbies include fishing and NASCAR.
Janice Forehand is the Health Support Tech at Wewahitchka Middle and High School. Started in 1996, since the beginning of the Gulf County Department of Health, School Health program. The Wewahitchka students and faculty love “Mrs. Janice”. She is an EMT, and her summer hobby is touring the world.
Laney Kennedy, RN is the Gulf County School Health & Wellness Education Coordinator. She started with School Health in 2003. She develops, plans and teaches health education and prevention classes. She specializes in case management for diabetic students. She works with the Department of Education on health promotion and prevention for the staff and students. Laney has been a nurse for over 16 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including home health, long-term care, and in the hospital setting which was primarily pediatrics and newborns.
Brandy Lewis is the Health Support Tech at Port St Elementary School. She started in 2006. The students love “Mrs. Brandy ”. Mrs. Lewis previously worked with the Department of Corrections. During the summer she works at the Gulf county Detention Center. Her interest are hunting and outdoor family activities.
Robbin Melvin, LPN is the Port St Joe School Nurse, since 2006. Robbin graduated High School from Wewahitchka High School in 1990. She attended Haney Vo-Tech LPN program, graduating in 1991. She has worked as a practicing LPN here within Gulf County most of her career. She has nursing experience in, Hospital, Home Health care, private doctor’s office, public health unit, as well as school health. She is currently in the Gulf Coast Community College LPN to RN bridge program. Robbin enjoys spending time with her two children. She likes camping, ball games, fishing and cook outs with friends and family.
Ann Morris, RN is the School Health Nurse for the Wewahitchka Schools. She started in School Health in 2000. Ann graduated from Chipola Jr College in 1976 as an LPN, then completed her RN in 1995. She has nursing experience in Emergency Room, family practice, paramedic, adjunct instructor for Gulf Coast Community College. She is also an AHA instructor in First Aid/CPR. She enjoys going to plays and church activities. “I really enjoy working with the students and their families.”
Stephanie Price is the Health Support Tech at Wewahitchka Elementary School. She started in School Health in 2005. The students love “Ms. Stephanie”. Stephanie did CNA work previously with Emerald Shores Health and Rehab. Her interests are spending time with her children
Melody Smith is the Health Support Tech at Port St Joe Elementary School. She started in School Health in Sept. of 2007. The students love “Ms. Melody”. She has donated time working at Faith Christian School in the Library. She loves working with the children at Port St Joe Elementary School.
Judi Rinehart is the Health Support Tech at Faith Christian School. She started in school health in 2006. The students love “Mrs Judi ”
Regina Washabaugh, RN has been with the Gulf County Health Department since 1996. She has been the School Health Coordinator since 1998. She was previously an Industrial Health nurse, the “F-22 Nurse” at Lockheed Martin in Marietta Georgia. She is recognized by the students as the “STD Lady”, from her educational classes. Her interest are, church, volunteerism and cruising the Carribbean.
